February 2008

Hi folks!

I hope you enjoy all of the short books for a short month!

While I have been reading a lot of great new books (man, John Grisham just seems to be getting better and better with his latest, The Appeal), I decided to re-read a lot of favorites this past month including Robert Fulghum’s timeless All I Really Need to Know I Learned in Kindergarten, Frank McCourt’s hilarious, touching and poetic Teacher Man and Laura Hillenbrand’s outstanding Seabiscuit (trust me: you will be fascinated by horse racing if you read this book, and I can get even middle school boys reading when I read aloud this fabulous book).

Anyhow, enjoy this month’s book selections below. I hope you are all reading some wonderful books. Make sure to tell me all about them. If you're an author or a publisher and would like to send me review copies of your book(s), please send them to the address listed for authors and publishers.
