Happy 2020! I hope you had a wonderful holiday break and are ready to make this year your best year ever. My word for the year is VISION, as I want to see my online reading engagement program in the hands of over 1 million students worldwide this year (check it out at www.whyreadbetter.com).
So, what are you reading? Anything you’d like me to check out? I spent a lot of late nights (and even quite a few late mornings) catching up on reading plenty of wonderful books in bed. Loved Mo Rocca’s Mobituaries as well as Patti Callahan’s Becoming Mrs. Lewis: The Improbable Love Story of Joy Davidman and C. S. Lewis. Impressed myself by reading a couple of Classics (mind you – I didn’t finish them, as they bored me to tears, but I did make the effort) and rewarded those efforts by reading a bunch of graphics novels and Manga (to impress my own children).
