July 2023

Hi, Folks!

How’s your summer going? Getting a lot of reading in?

The best part about being on lots of planes is that I get to read a lot! My biggest fear is being stuck on a flight with nothing good to read (I have no idea how people fly without bringing some great books to read). I managed to pour through my usual eclectic menu of titles this past month. Among the longer reads I enjoyed were Michael Schulman’s Oscar Wars, Bass, Wells & Ridgeway’s Seven Summits, Steven A. Guglich’s Piercing the Veil, Rebecca Yarros’s Fourth Wing and David Grann’s The Wager.

So, what are you reading? Anything you’d like me to check out? I’ve had a ton of friends and family either recommend or send me great things to read. And MANY THANKS to those of you who send me books and manuscripts. I love hearing about people’s favorite books!

Enjoy this month’s book selections below. I hope you are all reading some wonderful books. Make sure to tell me all about them. If you're an author or a publisher and would like to send me review copies of your book(s), please send them to the address listed for authors and publishers.
