July 2022

Hi, Folks!

Well, I had a wonderful June. Spent the month with my family in Europe. Got to see so many wonderful places, enjoy incredible cuisine and share memorable experiences with my loved ones.

I also got to read a TON, since we took a lot of trains (by the way: all the trains in Italy were on time, and all the trains in Germany were late. Go figure!). I read a couple of Presidential biographies that actually made me angry (silly me, but I cherish honesty and integrity in a leader) and scoured a bunch of books about the sites we visited. Also kept my healthy diet of eclectic fare, from Malcolm Gladwell’s Talking to Strangers to Emily Griffin’s Meant to Be, David Baldacci’s latest Dream Town to Emily Henry’s People We Meet on Vacation.

So, what are you reading? Anything you’d like me to check out? I’ve had a ton of friends and family either recommend or send me great things to read. And MANY THANKS to those of you who send me books and manuscripts. I love hearing about people’s favorite books!

Anyhow, enjoy this month’s book selections below. I hope you are all reading some wonderful books. Make sure to tell me all about them. If you're an author or a publisher and would like to send me review copies of your book(s), please send them to the address listed for authors and publishers.
