June 2018

Summer is almost here, and I am ready for it. We’ve had a “Gray May” in SoCal, which makes for poor beach weather but glorious reading opportunities.

So, what are you reading? Anything you’d like me to check out? My attention continues to stray among an array of eclectic titles. Enjoyed All the Presidents’ Children by Doug Wead and Born a Crime by Trevor Noah. Anticipating the films, I had to sneak peeks at books like Crazy Rich Asians by Kevin Kwan and Three Seconds by Anders Roslund and Börge Hellström. And, of course, I had to continue my steady diet of biographies, highlighted by Robin (about Robin Williams) by Dave Itzkoff and Vincent and Theo (about the Van Gogh brothers) by Deborah Heiligman.

Anyhow, enjoy this month’s book selections below. I hope you are all reading some wonderful books. Make sure to tell me all about them. If you're an author or a publisher and would like to send me review copies of your book(s), please send them to the address listed for authors and publishers.
