March 2025

Hi, Folks!

Anyone else ready for Spring?

I hope all of you are well. My travels took me to Cuba this past month, where I was robbed twice. No worries! On my visa application I had written that I was going to support the Cuban people, and I can confidently say that I definitely supported at least two Cuban people. Lol!

My favorite part about travel is that I get to do a lot of reading, and I crammed a lot of longer titles this past month. Among my favorites were the extraordinary New York by Edward Rutherfurd, Onyx Storm by Rebecca Yarros, Midnight Black by Mark Greaney and Lorne by Susan Morrison (fascinating biography of the creator of Saturday Night Live).

So, what are you reading? Anything you’d like me to check out? I’ve had a ton of friends and family either recommend or send me great things to read. And MANY THANKS to those of you who send me books and manuscripts. I love hearing about people’s favorite books!

Oh – and please forgive the quick ad – I recently published my 18th book, Misfits and Crackpots – short, inspiring stories for busy people (perfect for this group). It’s an homage to Paul Harvey and focuses a lot on the stories of famous women, minorities and people abroad. Kindly check it out, and if you like it – please write a positive review on Amazon (and if you don’t like it, please forget you ever read it…lol!).

Anyhow, enjoy this month’s book selections below. I hope you are all reading some wonderful books. Make sure to tell me all about them. If you're an author or a publisher and would like to send me review copies of your book(s), please send them to the address listed for authors and publishers.
