July 2010

Hi folks!

Well, I am off to Ireland to attend my brother’s wedding. Looking forward to enjoying a wonderful time with family and reading a bunch of great books. Spent a lot of June in planes, so I had the chance to devour a number of titles I’ve been meaning to read. Really enjoyed Clark Cunningham’s The Spyglass Cup (at 215 pages in big print, it is great summer reading for teen golfers), breezed through Lin Roland’s From My Weakness, I Am Strong (one woman’s intense spiritual journey in under 90 pages) and spent a flight captivated by Jeannette Katzir’s Holocaust memoir Broken Birds (touching look at the long-term effects of WWII). Jacob Isom’s newly published The Living Testament makes for good reading for those who have seen their New Year’s resolutions fall by the wayside (that group would include myself) and The Lost Daughter by Daralyse R. Lyons was unlike anything I have ever read.

Anyhow, enjoy this month’s book selections below. I hope you are all reading some wonderful books. Make sure to tell me all about them. If you're an author or a publisher and would like to send me review copies of your book(s), please send them to the address listed for authors and publishers.
