Hi Folks!
While Election Day is on everyone’s minds this month, let’s also remember that it is the month we give thanks for all of our blessings. People may have their differences, but we are strongest when we set aside our differences to celebrate those things that bring us together. My trick is to read positive things, and that is why you may notice I have a tendency of recommending books with positive messages. You’d be amazed how much better your day will begin and end when you start with a really good book. ;-)
So, what are you reading? Anything you’d like me to check out?
In the spirit of staying positive in a world filled with a lot of negative noise, I’ve checked out a bunch of books to lift my spirits this past month, including Joel Osteen’s inspirational Think Better, Live Better; Nick Offerman’s hilarious Good Clean Fun; Jennifer Weiner’s latest collection of delightful essays Hungry Heart; and – for good measure – I always like to throw in an intriguing biography, and that is why I breezed through Ben Mezrich’s Straight Flush.
