Enjoy the books. I am currently reading three books: (1) a horrible book on personal finance that reminds me of why I did not major in business (I refuse to give the title, as the author does not deserve any publicity); (2) a delightful and hilarious teacher’s tale by Esme Raji Codell called Educating Esme: Diaries of a Teacher’s First Year (highly recommend, as it is also short); and The Power of Now by Eckhart Tolle (I just started it). My summer has been quite hectic, as I just learned that I am going to become a daddy in February. I also finished writing a humorous travel book, and I’ve been writing about 20 query letters a day to literary agents so that I can get it published. If any of you know any literary agents, please give me their info. Unfortunately, my book is about 250 pages (and unpublished), so it does not qualify for the Lazy Readers’ Club list…yet.
