March 2017

What’s the weather like in your neck of the woods? While I’ve been on many airplanes speaking across the United States and Caribbean, my hometown Los Angeles has been blessed with an abundance of rainfall lately. Boy, did we need it! Best of all, there is nothing more enjoyable to me than getting cozy under a blanket and reading a bunch of great books.

So, what are you reading? Anything you’d like me to check out? I confess that I have a huge book on my bedside table that I am trying to read about 10 pages/night before I go to bed: The Autobiography of Mark Twain, Volume I. It’s not that it’s not interesting; I just freak out by its sheer mass, so I am taking baby steps to complete it. In the meantime, I’ve read a bunch of my typical eclectic faire, from Bruce Springsteen’s autobiography Born to Run to Tana French’s crime novel The Trespasser, Razor Girl by the ALWAYS reliable Carl Hiassen to Killing the Rising to Killing the Rising Sun, the latest by Bill O’Reilly and Martin Dugard.

Anyhow, enjoy this month’s book selections below. I hope you are all reading some wonderful books. Make sure to tell me all about them. If you're an author or a publisher and would like to send me review copies of your book(s), please send them to the address listed for authors and publishers.
