January 2018

Hi Folks!

Happy New Year! I hope you had a wonderful holiday break. My family and I spent two weeks in Hawaii. That was the good news. The bad news was that everyone except my son caught the flu. Oh, well. Sometimes I have to remind myself that I have “First World” problems.

So, what are you reading? Anything you’d like me to check out? I’m going to have plenty of plane rides to read this month, as I’ll be flying nearly 25 hours each way to speak in India, and then I have speaking engagements in Florida and Texas afterwards. Over the holiday break I devoured a bunch of eclectic titles, from Ron Chernow’s Grant to Robert Masello’s The Einstein Prophecy, Ernest Cline’s Ready Player One to Diana Gabaldon’s Drums of Autumn. Focused on a lot of self-help titles, as you’ll see reflected in this month’s selections.

Anyhow, enjoy this month’s book selections below. I hope you are all reading some wonderful books. Make sure to tell me all about them. If you're an author or a publisher and would like to send me review copies of your book(s), please send them to the address listed for authors and publishers.
