Hi Folks!

How was your April? I spent a lot of time traveling with my family in Palm Springs and Lake Tahoe. Got to read a bunch and meet some great authors and educators.

So, what are you reading? Anything you’d like me to check out? Besides my normal diet of short books, the Spring Break with my family allowed me to tackle some longer books that I have been wanting to read. Among the better ones I read were Lilac Girls by Martha Hall Kelly, Killers of the Flower Moon by David Grann, The Phenomenon by Rick Ankiel and The Lost Order by Steve Berry.

Met him at a Chicken Soup for the Soul authors banquet and insisted on getting a copy of his book about all of our Presidents. Teens need to see books about famous people before they were famous, as there are plenty of gems in this easy read.
