May 2014

Hi folks!

How’s life? Reading anything cool? These are the questions that anyone knows me hears me utter all the time.

I spent most of this past month devouring golf books, as The Masters always gets me excited about the links. Read one of the greatest golf books I’ve ever read, The Greatest Game Ever Played by Mark Frost, which is about Francis Ouimet’s incredible 1913 U.S. Open victory (so much history, wonderful writing – and I’m now addicted to books on Harry Vardon, too). I’ve also been reading a lot of other sports books that people should check out, including the incredibly moving Coached for Life by Ed Flaherty and Jack Uldrich. That one choked me up.

Anyhow, enjoy this month’s book selections below. I hope you are all reading some wonderful books. Make sure to tell me all about them. If you're an author or a publisher and would like to send me review copies of your book(s), please send them to the address listed for authors and publishers.
