March 2022

Hi, Folks!

Hanging in there? Every time I see someone who looks down, I suggest they turn off the TV news and pick up an inspiring book. Works better than any over-the-counter medication.

I’m truly hoping that the pandemic is fading behind us, but I know there are still people who are hurting out there. Let’s keep all those folks in our thoughts and prayers.

So, what are you reading? Anything you’d like me to check out? I’ve had a ton of friends and family either recommend or send me great things to read. And MANY THANKS to those of you who send me books and manuscripts. I love hearing about people’s favorite books!

This past month was interesting, as my oldest daughter and I survived a massive car wreck. Put things into perspective – and I’ve upped my reading and writing. And I am very clear about my priorities. Reda one of the best books I’ve read in years – Dearie by Bob Spitz. It’s a biography of Julia Child, and I cannot decide which is better – the writing or the subject. Truly an outstanding read. Also checked out The Golden Couple by Greer Hendricks and Sarah Pekkanen, The Unsinkable Greta James by Jennifer E. Smith and Nothing to Lose by J.A Jance (the latest J.P. Beaumont installment).

Anyhow, enjoy this month’s book selections below. I hope you are all reading some wonderful books. Make sure to tell me all about them. If you're an author or a publisher and would like to send me review copies of your book(s), please send them to the address listed for authors and publishers.
