Hi, Folks!
Can you believe we are already into the holiday season? Then again, doesn’t seem like stores market holiday season all year long?
I hope all of you are well. I had an adventurous October, getting to speak and coach throughout Uruguay and England. I’m guessing I’m the only person ever to write that sentence – lol!
So, what are you reading? Anything you’d like me to check out? I’ve had a ton of friends and family either recommend or send me great things to read. And MANY THANKS to those of you who send me books and manuscripts. I love hearing about people’s favorite books!
I got to read a ton on planes, trains and automobiles this past month, while also getting through a lot of books during football game time-outs and commercial breaks. Among the longer books I read, I enjoyed Steven Spielberg by Joseph McBride, 1929 by Andrew Ross Sorkin, Separation of Church and Hate by John Fugelsang (many thanks to John Geraghty for the recommendation) and The Body Keeps the Score by Bessel Van Der Kolk.
Anyhow, enjoy this month’s book selections below. I hope you are all reading some wonderful books. Make sure to tell me all about them. If you're an author or a publisher and would like to send me review copies of your book(s), please send them to the address listed for authors and publishers.
