I just met Jarrett at the marvelous Shenandoah University Children’s Literature Conference in lovely Winchester, Virginia, and Jarrett’s speech prompted me to read everything he has written. Besides his beautiful, funny and endearing picture books, he is also the author of the popular Lunch Lady series. I’ll just flat-out recommend everything he has written, as I know you won’t be disappointed with the stories, and certainly not the artwork.
