Brilliant tale of a young Korean girl’s emigration to America and the challenges she faces not knowing English, fitting into American society and maintaining her Korean culture, as well. A great book for teachers of English language learners, in particular, but all who want to start a dialogue about the difficulties of trying to fit-in.
