I have been steadily losing weight, and I fear that I will find it again this Thanksgiving. Studies show that over 98 percent of people who diet gain back the weight they lose in two years. I am the exception. I gain back my weight within a week! That said, I’ve been reading plenty of motivational, self-help books related to better physical, dietary and mental fitness. I truly enjoyed Walter Mischel’s The Marshmallow Test, I got pumped up by Chris Guillebeau’s The Happiness of Pursuit and I am trying my hardest to incorporate tips provided in The Forks Over Knives Plan (based on the excellent documentary film) by and Anyhow, enjoy this month’s book selections below.
