I have not been on as many airplanes as normal this past month, and in my rush to see as many Oscar-nominated films as possible I find myself reading a little less than I should. I normally read a bunch of stuff, and this month I found myself concentrating on middle-school books (I know James Patterson and John Grisham don’t need my help selling their books, but I have to confess that I love their books for teens almost as much as their books for adults). I also decided to read a lot more business books and inspirational books, as I am trying to add a lot more corporate speaking to my schedule. Jack Canfield’s The Success Principles is just phenomenal in the wealth of information, exercises and anecdotes that it provides, so I’ve made it my mission to meet him this year to tell him how much I admire him. I am also reading and re-reading books by Jim Rohn with gusto. And Brian Tracy is magnificent, too!
Anyhow, enjoy this month’s book selections below. I hope you are all reading some wonderful books. Make sure to tell me all about them. If you're an author or a publisher and would like to send me review copies of your book(s), please send them to the address listed for authors and publishers.
Have a wonderful February, and enjoy your books!
